The next edition, scheduled from January 23 to 29, 2025, will take place at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru, India.

With a legacy spanning over five decades, IMTEX has been instrumental in the growth of manufacturing industries by consistently attracting large numbers of visitors and trade delegations, thereby supporting business growth for exhibitors. The exhibition serves as a vital platform for showcasing the latest innovations and technologies, live machine demonstrations, and numerous knowledge-sharing opportunities for professionals across the manufacturing sector. Organized by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA), this event is recognized as the largest machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition in South and Southeast Asia.

IMTEX concurrent shows

IMTEX 2025 will be held alongside Tooltech 2025 and Digital Manufacturing 2025. Tooltech will showcase the latest machine tool accessories, metrology, and CAD/CAM cutting tools, while Digital Manufacturing will focus on advancements in robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies. These co-located shows expand the scope of IMTEX, providing a comprehensive experience for industry professionals.

About the previous edition of IMTEX

IMTEX 2023, held from January 19 to 25, at BIEC in Bengaluru, was South East Asia’s largest machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition. The event featured 991 exhibitors from 23 countries and attracted over 96,000 visitors across 77,000 square meters. Highlights included smart and high-precision machines, Industry 4.0 technologies, and concurrent shows like Tooltech and Digital Manufacturing. Key outcomes included reported business orders worth ₹2,200–₹2,800 crore and enquiries amounting to ₹31,000 crore. Additional features included an international buyer-seller meet, academic collaborations through the i2 Academia Pavilion, and the JAGRUTI program to engage engineering students. IMTEX 2023 reaffirmed its role as a critical platform for global industry collaboration and innovation.
