GF-ELTI, a historic italy-based manufacturer of industrial plants, supplies snorkel reheating furnaces C.C.M. These are tundishes equipment devices used to discharge liquid metal from the tundish to the ingot moulds used in continuous casting lines.

The furnaces have a quadrangular base in metal carpentry suitably lined by refractory material and are generally equipped with: removable upper cover, electric fan, combustion air shut-off solenoid valves, burner, electric box with terminal board, ignition transformer.

All the management, control and signal devices are grouped on a self-bearing support frame, secured to the floor and placed in a protected area.

The reheating furnace and the management and control group are also equipped with appropriate lifting hooks through overhead cranes, which allows maintenance operation to be carried out safely after disconnecting the power supply.
