Fumeless acid wave pickling lines
The l.C.E. Fumeless Acid Wave Pickling System eliminates the need for a Scrubber.
In any pickling system with a scrubber, there is the possibility of escaping acid fumes due to such factors as:
a) Acid Over Temperature
b) High Acid Concentration
c) Incorrect Water Tray Depth
d) Incorrect Fan Pressure or Capacity within the Scrubber
The l.C.E. Fumeless Acid Wave Pickling jump System is designed to introduce a hydraulic of acid counter flow to the direction of the wire field. This unique and patented technology increases the effectiveness of the pickling acid by effectively disturbing the laminar flow layer, which surrounds the wire in a static acid pickle. Through the introduction of an active wave component into the cleaning system, the l.C.E. Fumeless Acid Wave Pickle is designed to offer the following improvements over static acid pickle systems as well as other closed systems:
a) shorter acid pickle length
b) greater cleaning effectiveness
c) greater cleaning efficiency
d) greater possible wire speeds
e) reduced maintenance
