The FC/FT series extrusion heads are designed for both mono-extrusion, producing a single layer, and co-extrusion, allowing for a single layer with an additional stripe or outer skin. The range consists of two different models, covering diameters up to 30 mm. Custom dimensions are available upon request.

The FC model operates with fixed centering, ensuring high concentricity for small cables or cables with very thin walls.

The FT model is equipped with a Fine Tuning centering system, allowing for manual micro-adjustment to achieve the optimal concentricity for small cables or cables with very thin walls.

Technical features

The axial advancement of the die can be precisely adjusted using a ring positioned at the front of the extrusion head, optimizing material flow and achieving perfect concentricity of the extruded product. Heating is performed using electrical band heaters to ensure even heat distribution.

The FC/FT series extrusion heads can be used for insulation, sheathing, jacketing, and filler processes, and are compatible with the following compounds: PVC, PE, MDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, PP, XLPE (Sioplas-Visico), PU, TPE, PUR/TPU, XLPE FR, HFFR, XL HFFR, PVC FR, fillers (HFFR, PVC, EPDM). In addition to the most common materials, they can also process high-viscosity compounds.
Eurotek's FC/FT extrusion heads are made of high-quality stainless steel with a special hardening treatment up to 2200 HV to reduce the friction coefficient, ensuring excellent material flow and reduced wear. They can also be equipped with standard or customized tooling (4/6): wire guides, compression and semi-compression dies, tube and semi-tube; as well as special tools for low pressure, low adherence, etc. These tools, available in various materials such as steel or tungsten carbide, enable the production of cables, tubes, and profiles with specific geometries and thicknesses.
