Cut-to-length round bars

One of the possible processing for drawn wire is straightening it into bars. Trafileria Piazza Guido e figlio can straighten and cut to length all previously drawn iron and steel materials.

With its 11 wire straightening and cutting machines, the company can work on diameters from 4.4 mm to 20 mm. The lengths cover a range from 100 mm to 6000 mm, according to customer preference.

In addition to the standard materials, straightening and cutting can be requested for polished, black-annealed, raw, or galvanized material, as well as for copper and aluminum wire, plus SH 5M high-carbon wire and special stainless steel from AISI 302 to AISI 630.

The bars thus obtained can be subsequently rolled and threaded on demand to meet specific customer requirements. These products find their way into a wide variety of sectors, from furniture to automotive, from mesh manufacturing to marine, from packaging to displays, and many others.
