Horizontal cartoning machines for box opening and closing

The horizontal cartoning machine BP-405 is designed for the automatic forming, filling, and closing of boxes of different sizes from 70 to 200 mm, by using pre-glued cartons. The products are positioned - both manually or automatically - on an in-feed conveyor which leads the elements to a second device that folds the flat cartons through suction cups, and then fills and closes the box flaps by hot-melt glue application.

The machine is equipped with SIEMENS PLC motors and drives, and upon request can feature a wired or wireless modem card for remote assistance.

The machine features several precautions for operator safety and ease of operation such as guards built in compliance with EU norms with aluminum profiles and Lexan glass, HMI panel mounted on swiveling arms, servo assisted loading of material with pneumatically operated pusher, and more.
