Vertical double/tilting unwinding machines

In EME’s range of EME unwinding machines are included the vertical double/tilting SVR unwinder.

These dual-rotating machines are designed to unwind the wire to feed the drawing machines. Thanks to the two reels, production does not stop during the raw wire coil loading stages: in this way, once a coil has been completed, the unwinder is rotated to the second position; production is then restarted and the new coil is loaded by tilting the free reel at a 90° angle. This feature facilitates placement of the raw wire coil on the reel.

The SVR model processes min. 12 mm and max. 30 mm diameter wire and coils up to 2 m high, can support up to 3,000 kg, and reaches a maximum speed of 100 m/min!
