Combined TIG/plasma welding systems for tube and pipe manufacturing

The Italy-based company is globally renowned for its New Combo System product line, featuring combined TIG-PLASMA-TIG + TIG-TIG welding systems. These versatile and innovative plants are ideal for welding steel, duplex, Hastelloy, titanium, Inconel, copper, brass, and superalloys tubes and pipes with variable wall thicknesses.

In detail, the New Combo Systems are equipped with a TIG-TIG-TIG three cathode butt-welding torch, for wall thicknesses between 0.5 mm and 3.5 mm, and a TIG-PLASMA-TIG three cathode torch, for wall thicknesses between 3.5 mm and 10.00 mm in a single pass. They also come equipped with a magnetic arc oscillator to increase the width of the weld bead after the plasma keyhole, removing any undercuts and inclusions in the weld pool.

The torch changeover takes only 15 minutes.
