New Microstudio software for the automatic calculation of test angles

It was 1988 and Mr. Giampaolo Calafà was about to install a measuring camera at an Italian factory. A few years later, he will establish Microstudio, a spring control system specialist which will soon become a cornerstone of the industry.

Patents, innovations, and investments mark the company’s history, from state-of-the-art measuring instruments to cutting-edge production control and fatigue testing machines. Against this backdrop, Microstudio has recently launched a new system for the automatic calculation of torsion spring test angles, also defining start and arrival angles. The graphic preview, which can be used on Microstudio PTZ and PTX torque testers as well as on third party systems, allows checking the correctness of the entered data and, therefore, makes the use of complicated CAD software superfluous.
