A unique training opportunity in Germany for Italian spring manufacturers
From July 18-21, a very particular training course took place at the company Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG in Halblech, Germany, the well-known manufacturer of stamping, forming, bending, punching, and assembly machines.
The Italian spring industry association Anccem visited the site with 20 technicians, machine operators, and setters for a seminar on "Mechanical Stamping and Forming Machines and Machining Centers." The training covered a wide range of topics, such as application areas of punching and bending technology, machine setup and maintenance, feeding and forming units, and more.
A visit to the company plant in Füssen and a tour of the factory halls were also scheduled during the 4-day stay.
The initiative is part of an extensive training program - online and in-person - organized by Anccem for these months. The next course focusing on shot peening will take place on Sept. 7, while it will be followed on Oct. 3 by a workshop entitled "Industry 4.0: enabling skills" addressed to members of management, human resources managers, and quality offices.
As a reminder, from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1, celebrations will be held for the 50th anniversary of Anccem, from half a century at the service of Italian spring manufacturers. More details will follow shortly.
