SAWA is the voice of South Africa wire industry

The members of Sawa (South Africa Wire Association) include large, medium and small manufacturers who are able to accommodate specific client requirements crafted from South African materials. All SAWA members are reliable, competent and well established companies supplying innovative, quality goods at competitive prices.

The South African National Development Plan (NDP) aims to increase investment, supported by better public infrastructure and skills, enabling the economy to grow faster and become more productive. This includes increasing exports and SAWA is working diligently on behalf of our members to support the sector.

South Africa has a competitive and technically advanced wire manufacturing sector, this includes the successful export of wire rod and all the value added downstream products within the industry. SAWA continues to partner with all our members to keep our industry strong.

SAWA also has an Emerging Exporter Training Programme. The programme seeks to assist small and medium enterprises for the successful expansion of their business, while also enhancing current knowledge within the industry itself. We continue to provide access to expertise, knowledge and access to networks for our members.
