Some time ago, at the Fastener Fair Stuttgart, we met and interviewed Fastdev, leader in the design and implementation of software solutions for the fasteners field. How was this fair for you? Stuttgart is an opportunity to strengthen relations with our partners/customers, to introduce new solutions built to capture new needs/opportunities and to contact new potential customers, especially European, Middle and Far East companies which are otherwise difficult to contact. Once again, the interest in our solutions was very high and this bodes well for the future. Do you participate in many fairs? The Fastener Fair Stuttgart can be said to be “our” fair. wire Düsseldorf has become too dispersive for us, as well as other events, where we prefer to participate only as visitors. What promotional tools do you use? In addition to participating in your network expofastener.com, we do ads on some industry-specific newspapers, and in previous years we organized together with our partner Oracle a few web conference events. How much does communication matter to you? Communication and visibility is of particular importance for our company, in fact for the fair we completely revised our image, starting from the graphics of the stand, revived in the new brochure and new website, which we invite everybody to visit: www.fastdevsrl.com On which other fronts are you committing at the moment? We are looking for synergies with software companies from other countries that would allow us to install our solutions abroad more easily and professionally. The service we offer must always be high level and in line with customer needs. In this regard, we are proud to have installed our ERP in a manufacturing company in China. Is there any product that you've launched lately? Among the new products we recommend: - Fastb2b, which allows to exchange business documents used by companies in electronic format, in order to have an increased speed and a reduction of costs. - Easyprod, which allows to monitor and plan both the production schedule, taking advantage of the quality control requirements, and the basic operations of production progress. What are your strengths, compared to your competitors? Our main strength is specificity. We are a software company that develops and manufactures industry-specific applications only for the fasteners field, we are in fact present as THE solution for fasteners in Oracle's "Solution Catalogue". So, what are your expectations for 2011? 2011 has started very well with three new customers, we expect and hope to continue.
