Advanced dimensional control with MicroStudio's SCR

Versatility
The SCR is suitable for performing any 2D measurement on profiles of pieces positioned on a rotating glass surface with quick turnaround times and high precision. Examples of measurable parts include:
- compression springs with lengths ranging from 3 to 50 mm;
- torsion springs that do not require alignment supports;
- flat-shaped components, such as rings and clips.
Piece detection
This process is automatically carried out using a camera, without the use of sensors and regardless of the orientation of the piece on the rotating platform. It's also possible to use a second camera to measure the piece's height.
Software
The software is intuitive and user-friendly. The operator sets the geometries to be checked and their respective tolerances. The machine selects the springs based on the collected data and records them in the statistical management software.
Loading
The pieces are placed on the rotating platform using a linear vibrator, powered by a vibrating bowl system or loaded manually.
Selection
Spring selection can be configured in two ways:
- using a two-way air blast sorter for high-speed selection;
- employing a three-way pneumatic sorter.
Boxes
It's possible to install an automatic box exchanger to increase autonomy and reduce operator intervention.
