CAL280: here are the new features of the electric contact spring caliper

Always focused on innovation and technology, Microstudio has updated its CAL280 electric contact spring caliper, expanding its functionalities with the ability to connect it to PCs and terminals.

The CAL280, capable of measuring the length and diameter of both ground and unground compression springs, is designed to work not only during final inspection but also during winding and grinding.

The most notable improvements of this version are:

•  new battery lasting up to eight hours: operation without power allows the operator to easily position themselves near the winding or grinding machine;
•  new "Keyboard Emulation" interface: enables connecting the instrument to any PC and transfer data to any software without installation;
•  the possibility to type values on the caliper's touch screen and automatically report data to the screen of a PC connected with a USB cable;
•  new built-in accessories: mini USB cable for saving acquired data to a USB flash drive and a 25-mm striker block for length verification.
