IMTS Chicago 2022, what’s in store for REGG Inspection and REGG Rolling?

REGG Inspection awaits you at the 2022 edition of IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show. The trade event, scheduled for September 12-17 at the McCormick Place Convention Center (Chicago, USA), will serve as a gathering hub for buyers and sellers in the industrial manufacturing and metalworking fields from over 117 countries.

During the show, REGG Inspections and REGG Rolling will be showcasing their latest innovations for fastener manufacturing and inspection. Here is a quick preview of what’s in store.

New 2-die thread rolling machine R40-HD
The new R40HD designed by REGG Rolling (a division of REGG Inspection) is a high-speed 2-dies thread rolling machine, offering several benefits to fasteners manufacturers willing to minimize die wear and improve performances:

- all mechanical components have been designed with F.E.M. analysis to obtain the most rigid structure for less die wear;
- higher resilience due to its sturdy and robust frame construction;
- direct connection via the internet for quick and effective customer support and more efficient
troubleshooting;
- high speed and precision due to 1μm resolution slide control.

All REGG thread rolling machines also feature direct drive and zero backlash gear reducers on the two spindles for perfect die matching and quick set-up, and are PLC controlled for easy maintenance and automation.

Nano and Cube first article inspection devices
The Nano and Cube are optical gauging systems developed in close collaboration with REGG Inspection’s customers to perform first article inspection processes all at once. Thanks to their modular, compact, and portable design, the Nano and Cube devices will replace all those several expensive, traditional measuring tools, such as calipers and benches. The systems are also independent of temperature variations and human mistakes, delivering reliable and accurate results. All measurements are taken simultaneously and in less than one second.

MB20 ID gauging station
Along the same line, the MB20 is an all-in-one ID gauging station for bore measuring of components such as case components, electric motor bodies, fuel injectors, as well as other small-size formed, machined, or grounded mechanical components. Thanks to made-to-order calibration masters and customizable toolholder, the device can be easily integrated with your automation system and manufacturing cell.
