Materials and Metallurgical Inspection Microscope

n

Whether you want to inspect alloys, plastics, ceramics, or other materials, the TIM5 routine inspection microscope allows both beginners and advanced users to achieve detailed analysis of a wide range of material subjects.

Highlights

Effortless observation of a wide range of materials.
Up to 1000x magnification with infinity plan achromatic objective options.
Choice of illumination: two system kits ready to meet your different needs:
- TIM5-EPI offering reflected illumination for observation of opaque samples.
- TIM5-SSI offering transmitted and reflected illumination for observation of opaque and translucent samples.
Modular design permits the addition of a range of accessories, including digital image capture and image analysis software.

Optimise your observations
TIM5 provides ultimate flexibility offering choice of brightfield or darkfield observations as reflected light, polarized light or transmitted light options to ensure you get the best view of your observation.

The neutral density microscope filters (ND Filters), used in a variety of industrial applications, come as standard to allow you to select which light wavelengths are transmitted, reduced or blocked. These filters offer a selection of transmittance values, daylight blue for a more comfortable viewing, as well as contrast filters, often used for observation of semiconductor wafers and monochrome photography.

Adjustments for illumination, transmittance, interpupillary distance and diopter are all possible with this versatile materials microscope.

Capture and document the results
Image acquisition and documentation allow you to provide full reports on your results. TIM5 pairs seamlessly with most microscope cameras and digital cameras to give provide you with additional functionality. Choose from a range of cameras and software to suit your application.
