A new machinery is born in Zumbach, a pioneer of in-line measurement: SIMAC has gone to the next level with the brand-new model, the SIMAC 40/70 in the field of surface inspection systems, which will successfully replace the previous version.

SIMAC is a compact, industrial-strength, and cost-effective system, features that make it attractive in the market, along with advanced vision and machine learning capabilities. With upgrades to image processing, nearly all extruded products - tubes, hoses, cables, and others made of plastic, rubber, and more - can be verified in-line. The new model will provide numerous benefits for the customers, such as:

- the 4 cameras ensure 100% coverage even for small products thanks to overlapping zones;
- advanced algorithms for defect search based on pre-trained examples;
