Bakelite-graphite is an amplification of carbon-graphite, can be obtained with binders with a bases synthetic resins; the main characteristics of  bakelite-graphite is a high resistance, high voltage drop and high ratio between transverse and longitudinal electric resistance, which has a positive effect minimizing the switching current.
