Maillefer’s center for Pipe & Tube solutions has been recognized for its environmental efforts

ISO 14001:2015 certification is the recognition given to companies that are adopting virtuous practices aimed at reducing their environmental impact. 

Maillefer, the global leader in wire, cable, pipe, and tube manufacturing technologies, recently announced the acquisition of this certification for the Pipe & Tube business center in Ecublens, Switzerland. The Wire & Cable center in Vantaa (Finland) is undergoing a similar process.

The activities considered are machine development and design, manufacturing energy savings and recycling, and supply chain commitment to the standard. The environmental footprint results both from Maillefer's own operations and from the products the company delivers. Equally important are the company's efforts with end customers to provide durable solutions that ensure waste reduction, lower resource usage, optimal OEE, etc.

This recognition results from a collective effort, uniting Maillefer and Davis-Standard in the endeavor to increase environmental awareness, both internally and among the companies the group serves.
