Discover Promills' latest innovations for the rolling industry!

Promills, a veteran in the rolling industry, designs state-of-the-art cassettes and rolling mills for professionals in the wire and cable industry seeking specialized solutions for flawless production. The newest additions to the Italy-based company's product range are the PRO922FX rolling cassette and the SF150 rolling mill head.

SF150, a compact and robust rolling mill head

The SF150 (pictured left) is the latest rolling head model, integrating the best corporate technologies. Its robust and compact design features an innovative top reducer with a 1:100 reduction ratio, allowing micro-adjustment of the upper roller height and a tachometer for easy repositioning.

It has cooled axes that can connect to cardan shafts and vibration-damping systems. Additionally, roller replacement can be done in just a few minutes.

PRO922FX, the 9 series’ new rolling cassette

Designed for multistep drawing lines to replace the die holder, the PRO922FX (pictured right) is part of the 9 series and offers a simple, cost-effective solution for rolling wires in 5.5 mm - 1.2 mm range. Compact and aesthetically innovative, it allows for radial and axial adjustment of each roll during pre-setting and has an internal circuit for bearing cooling and lubrication.

The model is very compact, with dimensions of 260 mm length, 210 mm depth, 187 mm height, and a total weight of 27 kg, including rolls and roll supports. The wire centerline from the base is 100 mm, while the mounting holes are spaced 83 mm along the length and 190 mm along the depth. The shaft diameter is 25 mm, and the model is equipped with 4 carbide rolls (2+2) with an outer diameter of 90 mm and a thickness of 56 mm, including supports.
