Pro25331 and Pro25441 by Promills, the latest innovations in the rolling industry

Promills is happy to introduce two new rolling cassettes models of the 25 series: Pro25331 and Pro25441, the latest innovations in the rolling industry.

The Pro25331 model is a rolling cassette capable of compacting steel wire ropes up to a maximum diameter of 25 mm; it is also used for preforming hexagonal and/or triangular profiles to be drawn with draw benches. 

The machinery features both a lubrication and a cooling circuit for the roll holders, as well as six AISI 4140 R=750-900 N/mm2 stainless steel forks. The Pro25331 model consists of 3+3 rolls, and is particularly compact: it is only 1394 mm long and 1061 mm deep, for a height of 981 mm; the machine has a total weight of 2600 kg, including rolls.

Similarly, the Pro25441 model allows the pre-shaping of square, rectangular, and flat-section profiles. Both cassettes are equipped with independent radial and axial adjustment systems for each individual roll, as well as simultaneous radial adjustment of each group of 3 or 4 rolls through an electrical motor gearbox.
