Ervin Stainless expands production capabilities for future growth

Ervin Stainless expands production capabilities for future growth

In 2024, Ervin Stainless has made significant investments to expand its manufacturing plant. Despite economic challenges and the unstable global situation, these investments have boosted production capacity across its product range to meet growing customer demand. Founded in 2008, the Sprockhövel-based unit of Ervin Germany GmbH has been well-recognized for its flagship stainless steel abrasives, AMACHROME and AMAGRIT.

Two new melting furnaces operational since September 2024

To boost production capacity and maintain the rapid delivery times valued by customers, two new melting furnaces were commissioned in September 2024. This enhancement aims to address the increased market demand efficiently and effectively.

New crushing facilities for AMAGRIT

Working toward the same goal, Ervin Stainless is expanding the capabilities for AMAGRIT, a popular angular stainless steel abrasive, by adding two new crushing units. This development has significantly improved customer performance. Success stories such as Gföllner's transition to AMAGRIT resulting in improved blasting efficiency and cost reduction, exemplify the effectiveness of Ervin Stainless' enhanced capabilities. Numerous case studies highlight similar transitions, demonstrating the tangible benefits offered by Ervin Stainless’ abrasives.

AMAMAX: new round and angular blasting abrasive mix

Additionally, an automated abrasive mixer, operational since early 2024, has enabled the development of new custom blends under the AMAMAX and AMABLEND brand—providing tailored solutions to meet diverse blasting needs with precision. These new blends offer enhanced durability, reduced dust generation, and optimized performance compared to previous offerings.

AMACHROME: cost-saving alternative to chrome-nickel abrasives

AMACHROME has also proven to deliver substantial cost savings compared to chrome-nickel alloy abrasives, especially for aluminum die-cast and sand-cast parts, further showcasing the value added by Ervin Stainless' growing production infrastructure.
The exclusive production of stainless steel blasting abrasives at the Sprockhövel facility in Germany ensures high quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. To learn more about how Ervin Stainless can enhance your blasting operations, contact the company today.
