Diamond dressing tools

Mole Abrasive Ermoli Srl manufactures and produces dressing diamonds tools in different formats.

SINGLE-DIAMOND DRESSING TOOLS

BC Grade: regular-shaped diamond without potentially damaging inclusions or cracks, with 4-5 usable points.
SA Grade: virtually regular-shaped diamond with a small number of inclusions or cracks and 3-4 usable points.
WA Grade: irregular-shaped diamond, standard grade with a small number of inclusions and 2-3 usable points.
DR Grade: irregular-shaped diamond with inclusions or cracks restricting its use to a single point.
Unidress: small octahedral diamonds to be consumed totally.

SHAFTS

Ermoli Srl performs the re-setting of worn diamonds, the re-sharpening of the shaping tools, the repair or replacement of the shaft and the optical centering of the diamonds.
The most common shafts are cylindrical or Morse tapered but certain rectifiers require threaded or special shaped shaft.

PAD-BASED MULTIPLE DRESSING TOOLS S13/3

These dressers are made up of calibrated and selected diamonds, arranged on three intercalated layers.
Their elongated shape prevents the size of the surface contact area for dressing between the grinding wheel and the diamond from being too large.
Available in the BG - BM - BF types according to the dimensions of the diamonds (big - medium - fine). Carats 4 approximately.

WHEEL-BASED MULTIPLE DRESSING TOOLS

TYPE 8P1
Specially designed for dressing small grinding wheels, the 8P1 tool contains 8 very bright octahedra diamonds.
The quality/price ratio is very convenient compared to single-tipped tools.

TYPE 4/F
These wheel dressing tools, available in the BG - BM - BF types according to the size of the diamonds (big - medium - fine), are composed of elongated, selected and calibrated diamonds, arranged on 4 discharged rows to avoid clogging.

FINE-DIAMOND DRESSING TOOLS

Specifically designed to ensure a good finish on the pieces, these dressing tools are produced with selected diamond powder and are particularly recommended for the dressing of medium and fine grain wheels but can also be used for the dressing of vitrified bonded CBN wheels.

CHISEL-TYPE MULTIPLE DRESSING TOOLS

Used for dressing and profiling, these multiple chisel tools are made of elongated, calibrated and selected diamonds.
Available in different sizes and grain sizes:
S 10/3 BF: width = 10 mm, fine diamonds (≅ Kt 1)
S 15/3 BM: width = 15 mm, medium diamonds (≅ Kt 2)
S 20/3 BG: width = 20 mm, large diamonds (≅ Kt 2.5)

PROFILING TOOLS

The use of profiled diamond profiling tools is recommended in cases where geometric needs of shaping the grinding wheel do not allow the use of normal single or multiple diamonds.
Made with various angles and radiuses, they contain triangular diamonds of good purity, without cracks.
