Here’s all about the new Tramev-branded wire rod strapping station

Since 1977, Tramev has been a reliable partner worldwide for companies active in producing wire and wire products, supplying a wide range of cutting, straightening, and bending devices, as well as customized accessories such as tilters, wire-pulling tongs, and complete drawing lines.

The machine shop is equipped to build various machines and accessories and has recently developed a new semi-automatic strapping station for rolled and drawn products.

Suitable for coils weighing up to 1,500 kg, with an internal diameter of 400 mm and an external diameter between 800 and 900 mm, the machine can support input material with a length of 1,200 mm; the piston stroke of the up-and-down carriage of the support gripper is 150 mm.

The strapping station also feattures an inverter-controlled coil rotation gear motor; it enables an automatic cycle for strapping on the roll in four positions.
