CEA Spa: an innovative medium and high thickness welding process

CEA Spa is a well-known Italian leader in the design and manufacture of professional arc and resistance welding machines.

Over the last few years, the company has been developing innovative MIG/MAG and pulsed MIG welding processes. In our previous articles, we showcased vision.COLD, suitable for low heat input welding, and vision.PIPE, specifically engineered for pipe welding. Today we will instead review vision.POWER, a revolutionary MIG/MAG process developed for the welding of medium and thick steels and non-ferrous materials where increased penetration is mandatory.
With vision.POWER the welding arc’s cone is narrower and the pressure is concentrated on a small surface.

Thanks to its unique characteristics, this system can replace spray-arc welding with MIG/MAG welding.
