MATRIX AC/DC welding inverter generators, the latest development of CEA-branded ingenuity
CEA's wide range of welding solutions for industrial applications welcomes the introduction of MATRIX X AC/DC, a high-efficiency TIG AC/DC inverter welding power source capable of fulfilling a wide variety of TIG welding requirements, both in direct and alternating electric current (DC/AC).
The X VISION interface provided with the generators is intuitive and allows monitoring and control over all welding parameters.
Exceptional construction and advanced digital control technology ensure flawless welding arc stability, thus guaranteeing high-quality TIG welds in the most demanding industrial and maintenance applications. The MATRIX X AC/DC power source offers the ability to perform TIG welds on all types of metals, including aluminum and its alloys, and is equally efficient in MMA welding with all electrodes, even the most arduous ones, such as basic and cellulosic electrodes.
The single-phase MATRIX X220 AC/DC version can be powered with a mains power supply and 16A fuses, as well as with gensets, thanks to the PFC circuit, which optimizes absorption from the mains.
The MATRIX X line has several features to suit every need:
- coldTACK is a state-of-the-art tacking mode that enables accurate and safe tacking with low heat input. Multi-coldTACK is a feature that allows performing cold tacking repeatedly in rapid sequence to amplify the benefits of single point. Thanks to the Perfect-Point mode, coldTACK ensures the precise positioning of the welding spot.
- TIG RCT stands for Running coldTACK, a process that causes the weld bead to be much colder than that achievable with pulsed TIG and is an optimal alternative for welding thin materials with very low heat transfer.
These are just some of the technical features that come with MATRIX AC/DC generators. For more information, please see the following PDFs:
