Cometo presents a straightening-chamfering-cutting machine and a TIG welding rod production machine
Cometo, a leading manufacturer of machines and tools for wire and tube processing, announces its participation in the upcoming wire show, which will take place in Düsseldorf from April 15 to 19.
At booth C54 in hall 9 you will be able to admire:
• MTF 67-4, a straightening - chamfering - cutting machine. The cutting is performed with a disc cutter, obtaining a perfectly perpendicular, clean, and burr-free result, guaranteeing a quality comparable to movable spindle lathes one. This machine is not new to Cometo, but it will be on display at a trade fair for the first time. The SM12 chamfering unit performs a "V" incision on the straightened wire, which is then cut at the incision point. Furthermore, the machine can chamfer at one end only, at both ends, or not at all. The model on display at the trade fair is equipped for wires with a diameter of 6 mm, but this type of machine can process wires with diameters between 2.5 mm and 12 mm;
• MTF 76, a machine for TIG welding rod production, capable of marking the surface of the rods multiple times, without crushing the bar at the ends. This is a process that is particularly in demand in the American market. This machine represents a real novelty for Cometo, where marking has always been done at the ends, by crushing the wire. The produced bars are then bundled according to the weight indicated by the customer.
In both machines, straightening is performed with roller straighteners that guarantee an excellent result without damaging the surface of the wire, a common feature of all Cometo machines.
Cometo invites you to visit its stand to learn more about these and other machines in its range.
