Cometo to begin 2021 with a bang: new 2D bending machine on its way

The new year could not have started in a better way for Cometo, the historical manufacturer of equipment for the wire, cable, and tube industry based in Italy. The company inaugurated 2021 by launching on the market a new 2D bending machine for the processing of round, square, and hexagonal wires, as well as complex profiles from ø0.8 to ø6.0 mm.

MTF66 – as the newcomer has been named – can straighten steel, copper alloys, or aluminum alloys in a precise and efficient manner without damaging the surface. The machine is equipped with the innovative SM12 system, which allows chamfering one or both ends of the wire accurately. The MTF66 can be customized according to the customer’s needs with different sized wire straighteners, several types of feeders, and up to three cutting units.

The extreme silence of this model is also worthy of note, as it is a crucial factor for the wellbeing of the operators, who are near the machine on a daily basis.
