CONTACT TUBES for continuous annealing made by Heinze & Streng are optimally processed and have highly polished surfaces. As these wear parts are exposed to enormous stresses, special coatings are helpful to guarantee a long service life. Depending on the application, the condition and layer thickness can vary. The contact tubes are also available in pure nickel or brass. These thin-walled tubes are also characterized by an excellent fit and surface quality.
