Defremm and Industry 4.0, an interesting article on Italian Fasteners

On the issue number 70 of "ITALIAN FASTENERS", a magazine drawn up and published by the national association of the Italian fastener manufacturers U.P.I.V.E.B., there is an interesting article about Defremm and its relationship with Industry 4.0.

The news story talks about the digitization path undertaken by Defremm, begun five years ago with the implementation of 3D design systems and then continued with an internal reorganization and the adoption of Fastdev software; initiatives that have brought and continue to bring numerous benefits to company and customers.

Since 1980 Defremm has specialized in cold forming production from carbon steel, aluminum, alloy, copper, brass and stainless steel wire from 2mm to 18mm. Located in the North of Italy, the company manufactures special parts to customer drawings, as well as standard fasteners such as blind rivets and rivet nuts.
