Defremm: "Our comments on the Fastener Fair USA debut"

After having participated in the first edition of Fastener Fair USA, here are the thoughts of the personnel of Defremm Spa that attended the fair. The largest number of visitors who visited the event came mainly from Michigan, where the show was held, and from neighboring states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky. It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the production reality of some of these States, particularly Ohio and Michigan, which proved to be very interesting. Despite a large number of distributors with numerous delegations, mostly made up of technical personnel (engineers, quality managers, etc.), the maximum turnout of visitors took place only in the first three hours after the opening of the fair. In the afternoon hours the turnout was minimal or almost non-existent to the point that the stand was mainly visited by the exhibitors themselves. The range of products exhibited by Defremm (special custom-made metal parts, tubular rivets, blind rivets) however aroused interest among the participants, above all due to the complexity of production from cold molding.

The general opinion is that it will not be easy to develop projects directly with American companies, mainly due to the size of the company, which has no branches located in the USA.
