FAR is pleased to introduce its new KJ47 hydro-pneumatic riveting machine for threaded inserts, featuring pneumatic power adjustment. This innovative tool is lighter, less expensive, and easier to use than previous models. Available in two configurations:

Plastic case: it includes the complete hydro-pneumatic riveting tool with mandrels and heads from M4 to M10.
Cardboard box: it includes the riveting tool with a single head and mandrel format of choice.

Available from September 2024, the KJ47 is ideal for efficient and practical threaded insert installation.

ICT, threaded insert for complex applications

The ICT insert is designed to provide high-strength threading in thin sheets and soft or brittle materials, such as plastics, resins, and composites. Its innovative geometry maximizes contact surface, providing up to 570% more contact than a standard insert of the same size, ensuring exceptional extraction resistance and stability. Its design ensures extensive contact away from the application hole, which prevents deformation. This feature enhances stability and reliability, making the insert suitable for various applications. The ICT is used with the KJ44 LS riveting tool for precise and secure installation.

ALVIN, rivet for thin and fragile materials

The ALV-IN rivet is designed to provide a larger contact surface, enhancing joint strength. The aluminum bushing makes it suitable for soft and fragile materials like plastics, composites, and aluminum. Its compact design is ideal for honeycomb panels without pre-drilling holes, maintaining panel integrity. The ALV-IN rivet can be customized for specific applications, offering a versatile and reliable solution.
