Lederer receives important AEO-F certificate

In an age of rapidly advancing globalisation, it is particularly important for export-oriented companies to guarantee security and transparency in international supply chains: from the manufacturer to the ultimate customer.

That is why Lederer, the Ennepetal-based specialist in the field of fasteners and C-parts management, has been seeking approval to become an “Authorised economic operator for customs simplifications and security”. In the summer of 2017, following an intensive assessment, Dortmund’s central customs office approved the sought-after AEO-F status, which in the meantime has become mandatory for numerous branches of industry.

Until now Lederer was AEO-C- certified, which already meant considerable customs simplifications. With the additional attainment of AEO-S status, which stipulates adherence to the strictest security standards, Lederer has acquired the overall certificate AEO-F.
