Stainless fasteners: Lederer GmbH takes over Normtec
The well-known fasteners supplier Lederer GmbH announced it has acquired all shares of the German Normtec Montage- und Befestigungstechnik GmbH. The Wuppertal-based company with eleven employees, previously owned by Theo Förch GmbH & Co. KG, has been successfully marketing stainless fasteners for seven years.
From now on, both companies will jointly pursue the goal of strengthening and further developing their position in the market for stainless steel fasteners. Sebastian Ovenhausen, a long-time employee and authorized signatory, will take over the management of Normtec, which will continue to exist as an independent company at its current location in Wuppertal.
The transaction is effective retroactively as of January 1, 2021.
