50 shades of Rivit: blind rivets in the RAL scale

Blind rivets are fastening systems used to quickly join two or more parts and specifically needed when only one side is available for application. By using blind rivets, the application gets much easier and quicker, as they can be installed in 3 easy steps: insertion into the hole, deformation of the rivet body, and mandrel breaking.

Rivit boasts rivets of each and every color in the RAL scale, to guarantee a good aesthetic application also when dealing with painted surfaces. The most popular RAL colors among Rivit's customers are white gray (RAL9002), chocolate brown (RAL8017), moss green (RAL6005), and oxide red (RAL3009), in addition to more common options such as antique copper and anthracite gray, which are mainly used for work on aluminum sheets.

Blind rivets can be produced with dome, countersunk, or large heads, with different lengths and diameters, and in different materials, such as aluminum, galvanized steel, copper, stainless steel, cupronickel, and monel. In the special case of copper fasteners, rivets can also have iron, brass, or bronze mandrels.
