Major improvements for Viteria Fusani: revamped quality office

Quality is a fundamental characteristic of Viteria Fusani’s products.
Following this principle, the quality control office has recently been completely renewed. Thanks to a reorganization of the workstations, Viteria Fusani will be able to provide greater productivity and ensure the constant maintenance of the optimal temperature for the operation of control tools.

One of Viteria Fusani's specialties is to supply custom screws to design in series batches, maintaining consistent quality. But how does this process work? Let's find out in detail!

First, the customer provides an initial design. After that, specialized technicians very carefully perform a manufacturing feasibility assessment, also providing technical support to suggest any changes to be made. After this step and after rediscussing the topic with the customer, it’s time to move to the next production phase, involving the production of the first product samples: starting from the wire, millions of screws are produced using a cold-forming process and subsequent threading and/or other processing.

The parts are then ultimately inspected by the quality department and subjected to dimensional checks throughout the process. The findings are constantly recorded on specific control plans required for the issuance of conformity certificates.

Internal checks are performed for each heat-treated batch to verify and guarantee the hardnesses and torsional strengths required by the customer. Zinc coating thicknesses (ROHS compliant) are checked using a special Fisher Phasescope instrument.
