Screw manufacturer Viteria Fusani to increase production capacity thanks to new double-stroke press
Viteria Fusani, a company specializing in custom-designed screw production, continues to expand its operations. In late November, the company installed a new double-stroke press as part of its ongoing initiative to modernize and enhance its machine shop.
New double-stroke press: features
The double-stroke press is designed for maximum efficiency and precision and can produce fasteners with diameters ranging from Ø1.7 mm to Ø5 mm and shank lengths up to 45 mm. These technical specifications make it ideal for a wide range of production needs in the screws and bolts sector. But there’s more.
The press features a force monitoring system that checks each piece during production, recording deformations, and quality variations. This allows Viteria Fusani’s technicians to identify and address anomalies in real-time, ensuring consistent, high-quality production. Additionally, the machine features an anti-dent evacuation system designed to preserve the integrity of the finished parts, which minimizes defects caused by poor handling.
Visible enhancements to production capacity
With the addition of this new press, Viteria Fusani expands its workshop, which already includes 20 forming machines, and increases its daily production by an additional 150,000 pieces, bringing the total to approximately 2,000,000 pieces per day. This enhancement strengthens the company’s ability to meet increasingly stringent delivery times while maintaining high-quality standards.
