Inoxalca implements a new dimensional measurement device

Inoxalca Srl is a well-known company based in Milan (Italy), specializing in the production of custom-designed special turned parts, made of different materials: brass, stainless steel, ferritic steel, aluminum, duplex, superduplex and plastics. Inoxalca has recently implemented in its production department a new Keyence dimensional measurement system, specifically designed for the inspection of turned products. This new device combines in a single easy-to-use system all the characteristics of the conventional measurement tools, allowing Inoxalca to solve all the problems commonly associated with optic inspection processes.

There are multiple advantages: first of all, the machine can automatically identify the position and orientation of the pieces to be inspected, without requiring a precise placement. The process is fast and easy: the device can perform inspections on 100 pieces simultaneously and up to 99 dimensions in seconds. Moreover the system has a user-friendly interface and comes equipped with an auto-focus camera, which ensures repeatable and precise results and avoids the risk of any mistake by the operator. The inspection results are automatically saved once the operation is completed and can be extracted into a report with just one click.
