Springmaker Co.El. is booming

The target is to grow: Angelo Cortesi, Ceo of Co.El, says it loud and clear. The company from Torre de' Busi, near Lecco in Northern Italy, has been focused for more than 50 years in the production of springs, small metal parts and wire and strip components.
Last months have been dedicated to several initiatives in order to improve the productivity, to rise even more the quality level and to optimize the resources.

The biggest change in the company was the expansion of the covered space. The square meters available have almost tripled. Two new machines have been installed and one more is coming, in order to extend even more the range of production which is already very varied. Last summer many resources have been invested to restructure the company’s layout and to update to ISO 9001:2015 norm. Moreover, the company invested in an important anti-seismic plan and decided to install energy efficient lights in order to put itself at the highest level in safety and environmental respect.

These projects, explains Mr. Cortesi, Ceo of Co.El., will strengthen a trend of growth which is already in act. The sales trend for 2017 is more than positive. From January to August a +12/13% has been recorded, year on year.
