The torsion springs produced by Mollificio Romagnoli are versatile components essential in many industrial applications. These springs are designed to store and exert torsional energy when rotated around their longitudinal axis. The torsional force is then released when the spring returns to its original position, making them ideal for applications requiring controlled return or rotation.

Technical specifications of torsion springs produced by Mollificio Romagnoli

Torsion springs can be manufactured in both simple and complex shapes, adapting to a wide range of configurations and design requirements. They are available with wire in various cross-sections, including round, square, and rectangular, providing specific solutions for diverse mechanical needs. The wire sizes range from 0.25 mm to 3.00 mm for standard productions, or up to 20 mm for small series upon request.

Mollificio Romagnoli employs a wide range of high-quality materials for the production of its torsion springs. These include carbon steels (SL, SM, SH, DM, DH grades) according to EN 10270-1 standards, also available in pre-galvanized versions; oil-tempered steels (FD, TD, VD Cr-Si, Cr-V, Cr-Si-V grades) according to EN 10270-2 standards; stainless steels (1.4310, 1.4310 H, 1.4568, 1.4404 grades) conforming to EN 10270-3 standards, and other types conforming to EN 10088-3 standards; copper alloys such as brass and phosphor bronze according to EN 12166 standards.

To ensure long-lasting durability and optimal corrosion resistance, Mollificio Romagnoli offers a range of surface treatments upon customer request. These include epoxy coating, cataphoresis painting, white and yellow trivalent galvanizing (Cr VI-free), zinc and manganese phosphating, passivation, and Teflon coating.
