Certified springs: Springs Group renews the ISO certification

The ISO 9001 certification consists of a series of globally recognized standards, regarding quality management systems for companies and organizations. In other words, it provides a production process management instrument, that public and private companies can adopt in order to meet the customer’s requirements.

The ISO 9001 is one of the most influential standard worldwide, often requested by customers, sometimes required by market laws.In order to obtain one, a fairly long series of procedures must be followed, as established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO, this is where it gets its name from). First of all, companies are required to contact a competent authority of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and after that they need to be audited by an appointed officer. As you can see, acquiring an ISO certificate is not that easy and it is even harder to maintain and improve the system.
