Torino Spring: custom round bushings, oval bushings, and spacers

Bushings are precision parts used to meet specific requirements in industries as diverse as automotive, electrical, machine building, and more. They are made from rolled strips, tubes or flat strips. The latter represents the most cost-effective method of production. The use of strips rather than tubes allows for maximum product customization in the case of very peculiar applications.

Torino Spring manufactures bushings in aluminum, steel, brass, copper and stainless steel. Moreover, upon specific customer’s request, the company can set up full industrial productions, work on small batches, and even prototypes:
• round, oval bushings — obtained from metal strip, through bending process;
• flanged bushings — obtained from metal strip by drawing process;
• elastic pins according to customer's specification — using hardened and tempered steel;
• round and oval spacers — manufactured with progressive dies;
• compression limiters — obtained from tube.
Production dimensional range (indicative) — min / max:
• strip width: 2.0 / 100.0 mm;
• strip thickness: 0,5 / 2,0 mm;
• bushing inner diameter: 2,0 mm*;
• bushing outer diameter: 50,0 mm;
* depending on the type of article and the dimensions of the strip.

Among the most commonly used materials:
- rolled strips with round or sheared edges in low carbon steel (P01/P02), high-resistance steel (e.g. FE430D), annealed or hardened and tempered C67 LAF steel (for elastic spacers), 301 or 304 stainless steel;
- flat wire with round edges made of FE360 steel, high-resistance steel (Ex. C72), 302 or 304 stainless steel.
Surface finishes:
• natural;
• oil emulsion (hardening burnished);
• all types of galvanic finishes;
• Rilsan epoxy painting.
