Chimar At The Good Energy Award 2012

On June 11 the "Good Energy Award 2012", the Italian award dedicated to virtuous companies in the field of energy from renewable sources and energy conservation, was held in Milan, at the auditorium of the company Robert Bosch Spa.
  The award, created by the consulting firm Bernoni Associates, is now in its third edition. This year it had the support of Bosch, Energetic Source and Hera, as well as the scientific partnership of GSE Energy Services Manager.

In addition to the winners of various categories (Loccioni Group for the Producers, Diasen from Ancona for the Constructors' category and New Twins from Trento for the Energy efficiency), the event had as protagonists the companies that were classified as qualified participants; among these, UPS, Intesa San Paolo, Vodafone and CHIMAR.  

CHIMAR's project, namely the construction of a cogeneration plant that uses the waste from wood and cardboard processing, was greatly appreciated and has earned a recognition from the qualified jury.

CHIMAR began years ago a path towards sustainability, which starts from the business process (ISO 9001) and production materials (PEFC) certifications, and has its final outcome (only in chronological order) in the recognition obtained at the Good energy Award 2012 for energy conservation.
