Castes Industries chooses DimaSimma automatic warehouses

For over half a century, DimaSimma has been designing and manufacturing automatic warehouses for a wide range of sectors. Among these, the world of windows and doors also requires large storage spaces and customized solutions.

This need has led to the collaboration with Castes Industries, a company specializing in the production of wooden, PVC, aluminum, and mixed-material windows and doors.
Starting from 2019, the French company has chosen to invest more than 13 million euros to carry out a 6,000-square-meter expansion for the construction of a new facility and completely renovate the machine shop of the new PVC laboratory.

As Jean-Baptiste Castes, manager for Castes Industries, points out, the PVC laboratory project includes a second dedicated traslant elevator, a machining center, a new welding and deburring department, and a complete handling line; the whole operation aims to achieve a higher productivity and technological level, from the production stage to storage operations.

DimaSimma solutions are well-known in the French territory; a few months ago, we had reported about another interesting collaboration between DimaSimma and Portalp, a manufacturer and installer of automatic doors, for the construction of a state-of-the-art automatic warehouse with a capacity of 9000m3.
