DimaSimma: trade fair summary 2021—where and when it was possible to meet the company

DimaSimma designs and manufactures automatic storage systems for every industrial sector—from small parts to long products. 

The Italian company has always given great importance to events and opportunities to meet customers, participating in numerous fairs and exhibitions to showcase the latest developments in the logistics field and to further expand its network. During 2021, as soon as the pandemic situation cooled down a bit, DimaSimma decided to join as many as four events in just two months, both in Italy and abroad. Specifically, the company attended Equipbaie-Metalexpo, which between Sep. 21 and 24 attracted 400 exhibitors and some 20,000 visitors in the halls of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition center; Made in Steel, the main exhibition for the steel industry in Southern Europe, from October 5 to 7; Mecspe, dedicated to innovations for the manufacturing industry, from November 23 to 25; and Logistic & Automation, held in Madrid on November 24 and 25.

The company saw the desire of many to return (as far as possible) to personal contact, as well as an increased general interest in the sector. The better quality of the visitor compared to the past has highlighted a maturation of a market in which more and more enterprises understand that the need for proper logistics operation increases exponentially as the company size increases. Logistics is indeed essential to minimize distribution costs while optimizing communication and connection between the different corporate departments.
