FUCHS acquires German lubricants supplier Pentosin
Fuchs, an international company that operates on a global scale in the lubricants market, is taking over Deutsche Pentosin-Werke GmbH. The German company has been well-known as one of the leading manufacturers of quality lubricants and specialties for the international automotive industry for more than 80 years.
FUCHS is a global Group which develops, produces and distributes around 10,000 lubricants and related specialties across the whole world. The Group, which was founded in 1931, has a workforce of 4,000 employees in a total of 50 operating companies worldwide.
With the acquisition of Pentosin, the FUCHS Group expands its portfolio in the automotive lubricants market and is now able to offer to its customers all over the world a more complete range of products that come from a single company source. Pentosin's products complete and complement the international FUCHS Group assets. FUCHS strengthens its innovative capacity and thanks to this acquisition it increases its commercial power on competitors.
