New CLP Regulation: what changes for Fuchs Lubricants?
From June 1st 2015, the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation will be the only legislation applying to the classification and labelling of both substances and mixtures. CLP requires companies to classify, label and package their hazardous chemicals appropriately before placing them on the market.
The most significant change is, in most cases, the classification criteria of the new regulation becoming stricter.
Fuchs Lubrificants is an international company that operates globally in the lubricants market, and therefore has anticipated the new regulation, reviewing its products to use less harmful substances.
Fuchs offers now new products for metalworking that meet the new criteria for the protection of users and work environments.
