A conference on how to manage lubricant residuals on drawn wire

A conference on how to manage lubricant residuals on drawn wire

Excessive lubricant residues on the drawn wire can cause problems and indicate lubricant overconsumption. Too little residue can lead to premature die wear. It is possible to adjust the quantity of residue by varying some parameters, such as the type of dry lubricant used during wire drawing operations, fat type, grain size distribution, softening point, and type of filler.
During the upcoming edition of the Wire Expo show in Dallas, TX, USA, Condat will hold an interesting conference on how to manage lubricant residuals on the drawn wire.
The convention will take place on June 7-8, 2022, whereas the "Fundamentals of Wire Manufacturing Course" will be held on June 6.
Thanks to a long experience in the wire drawing industry, Condat's experts can give technical advice for the selection and use of the most suitable dry drawing lubricants. Topics such as cutting wire drawing costs, reducing the dust in workshops, improving productivity or getting the most out of precoatings, are some of the aspects that the Condat team can help you with.

Condat can also provide support towards a more responsible performance. There are 40 eco-designed lubricants available for wire drawing processes, which are rated through a self-scoring system called Lubriscore®. Condat's commitment to reducing environmental impact has been rewarded in 2021 with a PLATINUM medal by the EcoVadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform.

To know more, you can attend the conference or meet Condat's experts in Dallas at booth 216.
