Condat acquires Italian coolants specialist Kemno

On September 25, 2020, CONDAT SA and KEMNO have reached an agreement giving CONDAT possession of the Italy-based company KEMNO. 

KEMNO, like CONDAT, is a family-owned company. Created in 2004 by the NOVATI siblings, the Italian firm is specialized in the production of neat and soluble coolants. Mainly active in the cold heading business, KEMNO also offers metalworking fluids, maintenance oils and greases, quenching oils. Thanks to a continued partnership between KEMNO, OEM and tooling providers, its lubricant range is a reference on the Italian market for its ability to increase tools life and decrease oil consumption.

Condat has been established in 1854 in France (near Lyon). It formulates and produces a wide range of lubricants with a mission: create sustainable added value for its industrial customers and partners throughout their manufacturing process. As a multi-specialist, the group has earned worldwide recognition thanks to high-performance lubricants dedicated to a wide range of applications such as wire drawing, tunnel boring, forging, glass, machining, heat treatment, industrial maintenance etc. With responsible performance as the main objective, CONDAT group develops lubricants with a reduced environmental impact, without compromising either their performance or the safety of users.
