Lubricants for stranding, twisting and compacting

Aluminum wires usually require a light lubrication at the stranding head in order to produce cables with the required parameters.

CONDAT Group has developed a range of soluble and neat oils to facilitate stranding, twisting, and compacting operations of aluminum wires and aluminum-alloyed wires.

These formulations allow:

- shaping without tearing or damaging the wire or cable;
- easier winding and unwinding;
- good temporary protection;
- residues levels compatible with the insulation extrusion operations.

In addition, this product line uses vanishing fluids to reduce the emission of volatile compounds, thus reducing the risk of fire and increasing the operators’ safety.
